This £2M project in a very quiet village location involved the sympathetic restoration of a derelict stud farm into 9 high tech dwellings.
The old timber roof and floor structures were used wherever possible, with exposed steel plates where strengthening was required.
The structural works included a combination of retaining existing construction and new build in traditional materials in the local style.
Extensive surveys of the existing construction were required, and a great deal of the structure is visible within the finished units. The photograph shows the 3 storey Main Barn on the left and the Apple Store on the right.
