Thornbridge Hall

The project involves the removal of internal walls in a high ceiling Victorian building with steel frames to maintain overall stability and also a steel frame for an internal plant space above a new kitchen.

There are foundations and a suspended concrete ground floor slab as a base for a brick clad timber frame extension. The alteration works are phased to keep the school in service throughout.

Eastwood & Partners is the structural engineer for the scheme, we have designed steel frames and foundations and have responsibility for overall building stability.
