Hope Cement Works, Derbyshire

We have been involved in numerous development projects at Hope cement works in Derbyshire over the year.  Schemes range from minor alterations to existing structures to accommodate new plant to multi-million pound redevelopment works.  The upgrade of the limestone quarry cast required the construction of a new conveying system up the hillside.  The scheme comprised of a series of buildings linked by overhead conveyors.  We were appointed by the client to carry out structural and civil engineering designs in connection with these buildings and the conveying system.  We also acted as planning Supervisor for the project.
