Eastwood & Partners have acted as engineers on a very wide range of public buildings. These include:

Hospitals

We have been involved in numerous hospital projects and are currently the Engineers for a new c£4m Children's Day Care Centre at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. We regularly advise most of the Sheffield Hospitals regarding alteration and extension to their premises, with projects varying in value up to £2m

Schools, Universities and Tertiary Colleges

Over recent years we have been involved with the expansion of education in the tertiary sector. Recently completed and current projects include major expansion at the University of Sheffield Life Sciences Department, Sheffield Hallam University's Schools of Health and Learning Centre and Sheffield College's major new campus in the north and south of the city.

Sports Stadia

We have been employed by several Football League clubs and have carried out the design of numerous grandstands, ancillary facilities, designed the conversion of terracing to all seating stadia and other works in connection with sports stadia. We are retained by Sheffield Wednesday Football Club as their Engineers and carry out their safety inspections. We also advise Sheffield International Venues regarding their numerous sporting facilities throughout the city including the 12,000 seat Hallam FM Arena and the 23,000 seat Don Valley athletics stadium.

We have recently been appointed for a major sports hall development at St Mary's College at Spinkhill, Sheffield.
