Commercial and Retail

The design of various types of commercial and retail developments is a major part of the workload at Eastwood & Partners. As well as the design of the basic structure, Eastwood & Partners deal with the associated roads and sewers as well as arranging the provision of statutory services to the buildings. Often the developments are on brownfield land and contamination aspects are dealt with as part of our brief. The types of schemes we consider within this heading include:

Office Buildings

These include many prestigious city centre developments up to thirteen storeys high.

Retail Buildings

These include buildings in large retail parks, to numerous car showrooms throughout the country.

Industrial Parks

Often in addition to the various buildings on industrial parks we design all the infrastructure including bridges required for access.

We are also retained by Local Authorities to carry out structural Building Regulations checking. Of particular interest are some of the high rise buildings at Canary Wharf.
