Accounts Assistant

We are currently looking for a competent, friendly, professional accounts assistant to join us. You will have experience in a similar previous role and be able to pick things up quickly. We are looking for someone to work 20 hours over 5 days and are flexible on the times you wish to work. JOB DESCRIPTION

Opening/closing jobs on costings system,

Checking sales invoices (ensuring consistency on project costings) getting authorisation from Directors,

Checking purchase invoices and logging on purchase ledger,

Data entry/checking on timesheets,

Ensuring on a monthly basis staff expense forms are in and checked (using Supercalc),

Dealing with queries from staff/suppliers/clients,

Managing cheque requests/signature,

This list is not exhaustive and you will be fully expected to support the Company Accountant with other duties.

You will be calm under pressure, have the ability to work to deadlines and be able to prioritise your work.

We are looking to recruit an engineer for our mechanical and electrical department based in Sheffield.
